Few cities have risen through the ranks of world racing as quickly as Dubai. In little more than three decades it has gone from a desert camel track to hosting the richest race day on the planet.
A world-class stage
At the centre sits Meydan Racecourse, a 60,000-capacity venue with both dirt and turf tracks. Its season builds towards the Dubai World Cup, staged by the Dubai Racing Club, which draws the best horses, trainers and jockeys from around the globe.
Why it matters for owners
Exceptional prize money and an international programme mean genuine racing opportunities for well-placed horses. For owners, it also means atmosphere: race nights under the lights, the owners’ enclosure, and the chance to watch your colours compete on one of the sport’s grandest stages.
Be part of it
