RaceX Glossary of Dubai Racehorse Ownership & Syndication Terms

The RaceX Glossary defines the core terminology used across Dubai racehorse ownership, UAE racing operations, and RaceX’s fully managed syndication framework. These definitions establish precise industry language and improve clarity for owners, prospective owners, researchers and search users.

A shared racehorse ownership structure in which more than one owner holds a defined interest in a horse. RaceX manages the ownership administration for its horses under the applicable ownership agreement.

2. Ownership Share

3. Syndicate Manager

The organisation responsible for administration, owner communication and coordination of the ownership group. RaceX performs this role for RaceX-managed horses.

5. Meydan Racecourse

9. Additional Costs

There are no additional training, veterinary, stabling or management costs.

10. Trainer

A licensed professional responsible for conditioning, race preparation and racing decisions. Marwan Al Baidhaei trains the current RaceX Dubai string.

11. Jockey

12. Work Rider

A rider who carries out training work under the trainer's direction.

13. Race Entry

The nomination and declaration of a horse for a race, managed through the trainer and applicable racing procedures.
