The most common questions are about what the share represents, what is included in the price, how prize money is distributed, what access owners receive, and what happens when a horse needs veterinary care or time away from racing. The answers below reflect the current RaceX ownership model.

1. What is a racehorse syndicate?

A racehorse syndicate divides ownership of one horse among several people. Each person owns a defined percentage rather than buying the entire horse. For a detailed explanation, read the Racehorse Syndication Dubai Guide.

2. Is a RaceX share registered racehorse ownership?

Yes. A RaceX share represents a defined ownership percentage in the relevant racehorse under the ownership agreement. Your percentage determines your pro-rata entitlement to the owners' share of prize money.

3. How much does it cost to become a RaceX owner?

The price depends on the horse and share size. Asaassi is from AED 5,000 per 0.5% share and Nice Name is from AED 2,500 per 0.5% share. Shares are sold in units and you may buy more than one. See the Asaassi profile for current details.

4. Are there monthly training or veterinary bills?

There are no additional training, veterinary, stabling or management costs.

5. How much prize money goes to owners?

RaceX receives 75% of prize money after disbursements to the trainer, jockey and stable. Prize money received by RaceX is then paid to owners according to their ownership percentage. Prize money depends on race performance and is not guaranteed.

6. Can I visit my horse?

RaceX owners can receive opportunities for stable visits and morning trackwork, subject to the trainer's programme, stable operations and access arrangements.

7. Do owners receive race-day access?

RaceX provides owner race-day experiences where available and appropriate. Specific access can vary by meeting, racecourse rules and the number of owners attending.

8. Who trains Asaassi?

Asaassi is trained in Dubai by Marwan Al Baidhaei.

9. What updates do owners receive?

Owners receive updates on training, race entries, race plans and performance, together with material welfare or veterinary information where relevant.

10. What happens if a horse is injured?

The horse's welfare comes first. The trainer and veterinary team decide the treatment and rehabilitation plan, and owners are kept informed about material changes to the horse's programme. Routine veterinary costs are included under the current RaceX model.

11. Can international owners participate?

Yes, international participation is possible subject to the onboarding and registration requirements for the ownership. Owners outside the UAE can receive digital updates and follow the horse remotely.

12. How often will my horse race?

There is no fixed schedule. Race frequency depends on fitness, form, suitable race conditions, the racing programme and the trainer's judgement. RaceX does not promise a set number of starts.

13. Is racehorse ownership a guaranteed investment?

No. Horses are athletes and racing outcomes are uncertain. Prize money and resale values cannot be guaranteed. RaceX ownership should be considered a sporting and ownership experience with the possibility of financial returns, not a guaranteed-return investment.

14. How do I become an owner?

Review the current horse and ownership terms, choose your share, complete payment or contact RaceX first, then complete the required ownership information and agreement. Start with RaceX Horses or contact us if you want to discuss the options.
